Just a few of the elegant friends of Olivia and the costumes she created for them...

Emma Tooth

Emma Tooth, Olivia's friend, webmistress and artist in her own right, aka The Wicked Apprentice.

Kindred spirits Olivia and Emma were brought together by their shared love of big dresses and pet poultry.

One of their most memorable early meetings was on the 199 steps up to Whitby Abbey when to Olivia's amazement Emma was descending towards her proudly carrying Linda the exquisite silky-pekin who had just been taking a turn about the abbey's lawns.

From that moment they were destined to be good friends, having each found someone who would listen to all the drama about their feathered friends! These two ladies can sometimes be found buried under pounds of taffeta, antique lace and jet beads, clucking to one another...

Emma's wedding dress

Emma knew Olivia was the only person who could make her wedding dress when she first saw her in a pannier dress sweep past a young man whose long hair became caught in her huge crimson hat and he was literally dragged across the room while Olivia's hat stayed perfectly poised by some otherworldly mechanism and the lady was entirely unruffled!

The Gainsborough Lady

Olivia's dear friend, the lovely Gainsborough Lady, Elaine. The only person who could truly carry off this stunning creation!
